We think of pop culture of the atomic age relating to the 1950s and 60s. This month we address some of the first examples of atomic culture and the dates from these may surprise you. We invite you all to send us ideas for future pop culture features. Welcome to the third segment in our new series focusing on Atomic Culture. This consisted of three books: A Trap to Catch the Sun, The Last War in the World and The World Set Free. Wells wrote the first book using the term “atomic bomb.” His amazing story first appeared in serial format with a different ending titled A Prophetic Trilogy. ![]()
